Did you get your super powers after the great conjunction? If you have been doing the inner work of meditating, healing, and growing then you may have actually felt a shift in energy after the winter solstice/great conjunction that was on December 21st. That shift is believed to have been the energy needed to usher us into the age of Aquarius. So welcome to the other side! Have you checked in with yourself?
On December 29th we will have our final full moon of the year, in the sign of cancer. The moon is ruled by cancer, so we are ending this emotional year with the moon in its astrological home. Cancer is a nurturing, loving, emotional, feminine, water sign. The moon in cancer can pull heavily on our emotions, inner child, shadow sides, and the divine feminine. This is a time to let the emotions of the year come to the forefront. It's ok to cry. It's ok to feel the enitrety of all that you have expereinced in 2020. Collectively, we have undergone an enourmous change. Change is not easy. We have experienced fear, isolation, and for many of us; loss. Whether that loss came through death of a loved one, unemployment, or endings of relationships.
All that we have gone through this year has added to our gowth individually and collectivley. Many of us have taken leaps of faith, cut ties, started over, and much more. Take this time with the cancer full moon to reflect. Here are a few Journal prompts:
With this energy of nurturing the inner child, and tuning into any painful emotions this is a good time for a ritual to help release. Using herbs, and crystals that resonate with the enrgy of the moon can amplify your intentions. You could take a spiritual bath by boiling moon herbs and adding the tea to your bath water. You could dress a candle with moon herbs. You could do a guided full moon meditation. When creating a full moon ritual do what works best for you! This is your magic, and your spiritual practice.
